SPAIN TRIP 2022

In 2022, our second year in Spain took our program to an entirely new level. What began as a football trip quickly became a journey of growth, culture, and unforgettable memories. For two weeks, our players were warmly welcomed by C.D. Numancia in the picturesque city of Soria, where football is woven into everyday life. Here, the boys not only trained like professionals but also embraced the rhythm of Spanish living—sharing meals, strolling through historic streets, and forming bonds with local families and players.

 

After Soria, the adventure continued in the heart of Spain—Madrid. The energy of the capital was unmatched, and the players thrived in an atmosphere surrounded by some of the world’s biggest clubs and brightest talents. Our U12 and U14 boys received hands-on coaching from elite academy coaches, giving them a rare glimpse into the methods that shape Spain’s renowned football culture.

 

Competition was fierce and inspiring. Facing strong opponents like Osasuna, Valladolid, and Numancia, our players tested themselves against top Spanish teams. Each match sharpened their skills, deepened their understanding of the game, and taught them lessons that went far beyond the pitch.

 

One of the highlights of the trip was a special visit with Athletic Club de Bilbao, where the boys toured the legendary Lezama training facilities and experienced firsthand the proud traditions of one of Spain’s most historic clubs. They also walked the halls and stands of some of the most iconic stadiums in world football: San Mamés, El Sadar, Wanda Metropolitano, and Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. Standing where legends play, our boys felt the magic, history, and ambition that fuel Spanish football.

 

The 2022 journey was more than just a series of matches and training sessions—it was a complete immersion into the culture, values, and heartbeat of Spanish football. Our players came home not only better athletes but also more confident, independent, and inspired individuals. It was truly an experience they will carry with them for a lifetime.
