Playing football within our principals and philosophy in was something we seemed to do at all times even against some superior oppositions. The boys showed confidence and courage to play a great style of play and perform without pressure in a good environment. Enjoying every second of it and developed within the experience. 🔥⚽️

Some bits from the U15 boys this pst weekend. The boys have grown so much into this philosophy and style of play as the season went on as they had never experienced it before. Progressive and attacking principles of play, being on the front foot and showing confidence and composure with and without the ball. Trusting the process and looking to progress on weekly basis is the boys’ main aim and objective. Always a pleasure coaching this group of players! 🙌🏽

Quick feet and agility in the warmup with the ball to get the boys moving and flowing. Applying decision making and good movement to keep players constantly thinking and not lose concentration. Think therefore you play.

Working on the half turns and weighted passing earlier today with the 2008 Boys⚽️ - Getting the boys to control the tempo of the play by their weight of passing and timed runs🏃🏻‍♂️ - Realizing when and how to quicken up the tempo and when the slow it down is vital for every academy player to know and learn at this level🧠 Well done boys!👏🏽🔥

How good is your first touch? Can you pass and move into space? Make the right decisions? Scan shoulders to see where the next pass goes? To see where the space is and how early you can make decisions? Can you pass the ball at the right speed and right time? First touch and weight of pass is crucial in our game if not the most important aspect. Definitely not the easiest to coach either, 3 months in and these two U10 ballers are doing all of the above with instincts, almost becoming second nature. This drill is way ahead of their time as well! Love to see it🔥🙌🏽
